alix and Nate : San Clemente Engagement session

December 27, 2010

I
first met Alix my junior year at Point Loma Nazarene University. We were roommates. The kind of roommates that stayed up late and chatted about boys on our bunk beds and laughed about our funny embarrassing stories together. Being a new transfer student, Alix really helped me feel at home. Alix sees life in a beautiful way. Her constant smile and loud personality is what I love the most about her. She is genuinely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet so when I heard about her and a new boy, I wasn't surprised when she said she loved... View Full Post

few weeks ago, Stephen and I met Kimberlee at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to chat about her upcoming wedding next May. We chatted about all the tiny little details Kimberlee has been planning, but first she wanted to find her photographer. Photography is important to Kim and Jason and we feel so honored to have been chosen to document their engagement session. They met at Cornerstone church and have been smitten ever since. When we first arrived at the engagement session in Jerome, Kim seemed a little nervous for the shoot. I told her it was... View Full Post

couple weeks ago, I received an e-mail from Vanessa about her need for a wedding photographer for her fall wedding next year. She expressed to me her need to move quickly since her fiance Brian is in the Air Force and on his way to be stationed overseas. She also mentioned in her e-mail that she was nervous about photography because she doesn't like the way she looks in pictures. Let me be the first to say Vanessa is CRAZY. She is drop dead gorgeous and LOVELY to photograph. We sat down for coffee at Starbucks and the four of us chatted... View Full Post

When I heard the word vintage, I couldn't wait to hear more about their ideas. With the help of Victoria Canada, Jed and Milessa are planning their entire wedding from separate places. Since we weren't able to meet in person, a three way phone call was the best way we could all chat about wedding photography. .I got to know these two over the phone and immedetely fell in love with them. Jed was one of the... View Full Post

esterday, Stephen and I met our close friends Kyra and Johnny in Temecula California for their adorable vintage engagement shoot. Johnny was a groomsmen in our wedding last fall and it has been a PLEASURE getting to know Kyra as their relationship has grown. I cannot say enough good things about these two. They are SO happy, completely in love, and some of the sweetest people I know. I cannot WAIT to be a part of their big day next spring! Yesterday was rainy, wet, and a very COLD day, but we bit our lips, bared the cold, and smiled our way... View Full Post

few months ago, I was contacted by Molly and her mom Eileen about Molly's future wedding. Because Molly lives in Tucson, she wasn't able to make it to Scottsdale to meet with me over coffee. Instead, I met with her mom Eileen and immediately knew I would fall in love with Molly. Like mom like daughter, both are so adorable and easy to get along with. I couldn't wait to get both Molly and George in front of my camera! This past weekend, Stephen and I drove down to Tucson to photograph Molly and George's engagement session. I have fallen...
