Vanessa and Brian : Prescott Engagements

A couple weeks ago, I received an e-mail from Vanessa about her need for a wedding photographer for her fall wedding next year. She expressed to me her need to move quickly since her fiance Brian is in the Air Force and on his way to be stationed overseas. She also mentioned in her e-mail that she was nervous about photography because she doesn't like the way she looks in pictures. Let me be the first to say Vanessa is CRAZY. She is drop dead gorgeous and LOVELY to photograph.
We sat down for coffee at Starbucks and the four of us chatted about life. The second I met these two, I was in love with them and couldn't wait to get them in front of my camera. This past weekend, we met in Prescott under the fall trees for the engagement session. The weather is finally cooling down and the trees are beginning to truly look like fall. Aside from the fact that I was running a fever that afternoon and beginning to catch an awful cold, I had an absolute blast getting to know these two. I was hoping they didn't think I was simply crazy but only a bit strange from the abundance of cough syrup I was taking! They were so understanding regardless :) A true genuine couple!
Vanessa and Brian met at a bar after a University of Tennessee vs Air Force football game. Numerous family members of Vanessa have been involved in the Air Force so Vanessa has a soft spot for the Air Force men. :) They noticed each other, struck up a conversation, and then parted ways without each others phone number. Soon enough, Facebook would bring these two back together and they have been inseparable since.
I cannot say enough good things about these two. Vanessa and Brian, you two are absolutely gorgeous together and I feel so grateful to be your photographer! I cannot wait for your fall wedding next year! To see a slideshow of the day, click HERE.
I LOVE this photo!
WOW. Vanessa, you are STUNNING.
I was overjoyed when we found this park full of fall trees! The light was perfect.
